ABOUT THE BAND

Guitarist Mike Rodenbaugh states "I've been with the Durty Scroggin band since August 2004.  Really great bunch of guys.  It's been the most fun I've ever had playing out.  It's not often that you can get a group of musicians together that gel so quickly and get along so well.  They are talented as hell, very open-minded musically, and. man,  they like to ROCK!

"I enjoy playing with these guys so much that I travel an hour to practice and at least an hour and a half to each gig.  Their skills and dedication is what is going to make us the top cover band in Connecticut.

Jim is the lead singer whose style is like Cinderella, ZZ Top and Zeppelin. Where other singers would have problems singing this stuff all night long, Jim keeps going without ripping out his vocal cords.  Man, how do you do it?

Bass player Gary is a marksman with his weapon, driving the bottom end with precision and creativity.  When he sings you'd swear you were listening to the lead singer of Styx.  The ladies have noticed that he is always smiling throughout the show.  (Yeah, he must be up to something).

Dan is the "old man" of the band but he plays like a youngin'  (just kidding, Dan!).  He adds tons of double-kick (which I thrive on) and provides solid backing vocals.   (Oh, and great practice space, too!  Haha)

I feel like I've known these guys all my life.  As a band, we truly kick ass!"
